This report follows acts of inter-communal violence, anti-Semitic attacks and acts of vandalism that took place in June 1936 in Constantine.
The political situation and the cultural and religious plurality of the people of Constantine create tensions degenerating into fights in the city.
Relative calm seems to have returned between Europeans, Jews and Muslims according to this report.
