Letter (in English) from the British Consulate General in Tunis to the [Nationality and] Treaty Department on the subject of Jewish marriages in Tunisia involving British citizens and the issue of polygamy. Separated into five points. Attached is a memorandum in French from a Tunis lawyer, Samuel Benattar, identified as the consulate’s “legal adviser as to marriages of British subjects of Jewish religion domiciled in Tunisia.”
