Report dated May 5, 1936. The Superintendant sends the Prefect a leaflet spread in town and relating an incident between two Municipal Councilors, Dr MOUFFOK and BENHAMADI Améziane.
In the leaflet, addressed to « Muslims, my brothers », Dr MOUFFOK mentions all the grievances he has against BENHAMADI Améziane about the latter’s support for the election of a deputy, Mr Morinaud. He concludes with a diatribe towards Dr BENDJELLOUL whom he accuses of having abused him after asking him to resign, and describes him as « a coward and a traitor ».
